Power, noise, attachments, and discretion: what actually matters when you're buying your first machine.
Sex machines look intimidating on a spec sheet, but only a few attributes really shape the experience. Power and adjustability come first: you want a wide, smooth range, not just a high top speed. Being able to start gentle matters more than a dramatic maximum.
Noise is the most underrated factor. A machine that's powerful but loud is one you'll use less. Look for reviews that test noise under load, not idling, and consider where in your home you'd realistically use it.
Attachments and the mounting system determine versatility and cleanup. A standardized, quick-swap connector (and body-safe silicone attachments) makes a machine far more flexible and far easier to live with. App or remote control is a genuine convenience for couples, not just a gimmick.
Finally, storage and discretion. These are large pieces. Think honestly about where it lives between uses. A model that breaks down or tucks away will get used more than one that has to be hidden in a hurry.
