About Braise

Braise is an independent editorial site and app for adults in relationships. We help couples turn an ordinary bedroom, spare room or forgotten corner into a space made for intimacy, and then plan the whole evening that happens there: the lighting, the scent, the music, the food, and something to wear.

Readers can photograph their own room and see it restyled in one of 14 design styles with our AI Room Designer. Around it sit 50+ in-depth guides and 45+ reviews, each labeled tested or vetted so it's clear what our take is based on. No brand pays to be included.

The founders

Braise was founded by Maghan and Ryan. Maghan is Founder and Editor-in-Chief and leads everything you read on the site. Ryan built the Room Designer and the app. Interview requests go to Maghan.
