Pick a scene. The room follows.
Start a scene and the overhead light gives way to something warm and low, the oil warmer clicks on, and the music is a tap away. When you're done, Stop leaves a soft glow and switches the plugs off. Here is what makes that work, and where.
Connect Govee once from your account, choose which lights and plugs a scene may change, and every scene sets them when it starts.
Uses the lights and plugs already in your Apple Home, Govee or not. One tap, one iPhone prompt, nothing else to install.
Every scene suggests what to play, with one tap to Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube Music. Nothing to buy or connect.
Warm, low and set for you
A scene picks the light for you: warm white at a comfortable level for a slow evening, candle-warm and low for most nights, and nearly dark for the frankest ones. Bulbs that can change their warmth do this best.
Standard bulbs for the lamps you already own. The easiest place to start.
A vintage filament look for exposed bulbs, pendants and sconces.
A bedside lamp that goes from reading light to a low amber glow.
Behind the headboard or under the bed frame, for light you feel more than see.
The warmer, the diffuser, the string lights
Plug something in and a scene switches it on when you start, then off at Stop. Good for a massage oil warmer, an oil diffuser or a string of fairy lights. Only use things that are safe to switch on and off, and anything that heats should have its own automatic shut-off.
On iPhone, anything in your Apple Home will work, including Philips Hue with a Hue Bridge and plugs with the “Works with Apple Home” or Matter badge. Android and Google Home are next on our list. On the website, Set the Scene works with Govee today.
Connected lights and plugs are part of Braise Unlimited. The scenes themselves, and their music, need none of this.
