Forest Green After Dark
Green velvet, a reading chair, and the whole night for two.
Forest green walls, velvet on the bed and an armchair in the corner. Tonight the two of you come back to each other slowly, starting with words and ending wherever you both want.
The evening
After Midnight: Bolder. Suggestive, never explicit.
Start in the armchair with oral, taking turns, then move to the bed: missionary with a pillow under the hips, or legs on shoulders if that's comfortable. Long pauses, lots of eye contact.
Pick a pause word you'd never say by accident. Either of you can use it, or simply say stop, at any point and for any reason. Check in along the way, and treat a not yet as a perfectly good answer.
The setting
Tall tapers in clusters, and every overhead light off.
Slow cello, a little choral, something that sounds like rain on old glass.
Dark and a little sweet, like a church that's been turned into a bedroom.
Heavy velvet, a lace edge, cool satin against warm skin.
Positions it suits
From the position guide: frank, practical and comfort-aware, with the furniture that makes each one easier.
One partner sits back in a deep chair, the other kneels on a cushion in front.
One partner on their back, the other on top facing them. The classic for a reason.
Missionary with the receiving partner's legs up on the other's shoulders. Very deep.
Lying on your sides, turned toward each other. Eye contact and ease.
