The Butterfly
Also called: Edge of the bed, legs up
Hips at the bed's edge, legs up on the standing partner's shoulders.
The receiving partner lies on their back with their hips right at the edge of the bed. The standing partner lifts their legs onto their shoulders and holds their hips or thighs. Because the standing partner isn't carrying any weight, they can control the rhythm precisely.
Deep penetration and a strong G-spot or prostate angle, with good eye contact.
The bed has to be roughly hip height for the standing partner. If it's too low, raise the receiving partner's hips on a wedge; too high, the standing partner kneels on a cushion.
Lowering the legs from the shoulders to the standing partner's chest or arms makes it less intense.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
A wedge or ramp sets the height if your bed is on the low side.
