The Untried List
Each of you picks one position you've never tried. You try both.
Routine is comfortable until it's all there is. Under a paper lantern in a quiet room, you each choose something new from a list, and laugh through it if it goes sideways.
The evening
After Midnight: Bolder. Suggestive, never explicit.
Try them for real. The Butterfly at the edge of the bed, the Yawning position, or the Turning position if you're feeling ambitious. Give each one a few minutes, use lube, and switch back to a favorite whenever you want.
Talk about what's on and off the table before anything starts, and agree on a pause word everyone knows. Anyone can step out at any point, with no explanation needed. Check in with each person, not only the group.
The setting
One low lamp or paper lantern. Everything else off.
Slow and minimal, with room to breathe between the notes.
Clean and quiet, more forest than perfume.
Crisp natural linen, a stoneware cup, pale oak underfoot.
Positions it suits
From the position guide: frank, practical and comfort-aware, with the furniture that makes each one easier.
On the back, legs raised and opened wide. A Kama Sutra classic.
Hips at the bed's edge, legs up on the standing partner's shoulders.
The partner on top turns all the way around, from facing to facing away, without separating.
One partner on their side, the other kneeling and straddling their lower leg.
