The Study

Warm, literary, and quietly grown-up.

The Study

The Study borrows the warmth of a book-lined library: dark wood shelving, deep green velvet, cognac leather, and low lamplight. It feels established and in no particular hurry, a grown-up room built for slowing down together.

The palette, and why

Every color does a job.

Walnut#46301f

Dark wood shelving wraps the room in warmth and makes it feel established and secure, like a favorite book you keep coming back to.

Hunter Green#223f32

Deep green is calming and classic. On the bed and windows it adds richness without the drama of brighter jewel tones.

Cognac Leather#7c4a2b

Tanned leather adds a supple, broken-in warmth and a hint of old-world comfort.

Lamplight Amber#c79a56

Pairs of warm table lamps give the room a low golden glow, the exact light that makes everything feel unhurried.

Parchment#e2d7bf

Pale pages and cream shades keep the dark woods from closing in and give the eye somewhere soft to land.

The feeling

Settled, intelligent, and warm. The Study feels like it has always been here, private and comfortable and in no particular hurry.
