Stretch, Then Stay
A partner stretch on the mat that turns into something slower.
Athletic rooms are made for bodies that move. Start with an honest partner stretch, then let the warm-up become the evening.
The evening
Smoldering: Flirtier, a little closer.
Stretch together, then trade a slow massage on whatever muscles complained the most. Stay on the mat as long as you want.
Pick a pause word you'd never say by accident. Either of you can use it, or simply say stop, at any point and for any reason. Check in along the way, and treat a not yet as a perfectly good answer.
The setting
A couple of warm lamps at floor level so nothing glares.
Downtempo with a pulse you can move to without trying.
Fresh and awake, never heavy.
Something forgiving underfoot, a stack of warm towels, a light blanket.
Positions it suits
From our position guide: comfort-first, non-explicit, and paired with the furniture that makes each one easier.
One partner reclines with a wedge lifting the hips. The angle does the work.
A cushion or wedge under the hips takes the strain off knees and back.
A ramp creates a supported slope for comfortable depth and angle without effort.
Hips raised on a wedge for a comfortable, supported angle.
