Low Doggy
Also called: The Hound, Forearms-down doggy
Doggy style with the front partner down on their forearms and the kneeling partner upright behind them. A lower, more angled take on the classic.
The front partner kneels on the bed and lowers onto their forearms, elbows under the shoulders and head relaxed, so their back slopes down toward the chest. Their knees stay about hip-width apart. The partner behind kneels upright with their knees just outside or between the front partner's knees, torso tall, and rests both hands on the front partner's lower back or waist. Because the front partner's chest is low, their hips tilt up, which changes the angle from regular doggy and often reaches deeper. Unlike Lazy Dog, there are no pillows: the front partner holds the shape on their forearms. Widening the front partner's knees lowers the hips and softens things; bringing them together tightens the fit.
A strong angle toward the front wall of the vagina or the prostate with very little effort. The kneeling partner's hands are free to hold, guide or reach around.
Pad both partners' knees with a pillow or folded blanket. If the forearms get tired, slide a pillow under the front partner's chest and it becomes Lazy Dog.
The front partner can push back against the kneeling partner to set the depth. Agree on that beforehand so nobody's guessing.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
A wedge under the chest lets the front partner rest instead of holding themselves up.
