Doggy Style
Also called: From behind, Doggy
One partner on hands and knees, the other kneeling behind. Deep, direct and popular.
The receiving partner gets on hands and knees on the bed, knees about hip-width apart. The partner behind kneels between or just outside their legs and holds their hips for balance. Dropping from hands to forearms, with the chest low and hips up, changes the angle a lot and often feels deeper.
Depth and a strong angle toward the front wall of the vagina (where the G-spot area is) or the prostate. Hands are free to reach around for extra touch or a toy.
A pillow or wedge under the chest lets the receiving partner relax instead of holding themselves up. Padding under both partners' knees helps on a firm mattress.
The partner in front can push back to control depth and speed. Agree on that before you start so nobody has to guess.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
A wedge under the chest or hips makes this a position you can stay in.
