Letters at the Foot of the Bed
Write it down, fold it up, read it out loud.
Some things are easier to write than to say. Tonight you each write a short note, trade, and read them in a canopy bed with the lights down.
The evening
Candlelit: Sweet and talkative.
Each of you writes three short lines: something you love about the other, a favorite memory of the two of you, and one small thing you'd like more of. Trade notes and read them out loud.
Pick a pause word you'd never say by accident. Either of you can use it, or simply say stop, at any point and for any reason. Check in along the way, and treat a not yet as a perfectly good answer.
The setting
Warm and low, with a sheer curtain to catch it.
Airy and unhurried, the kind that makes a room feel like Paris at midnight.
Floral and a touch nostalgic, never sweet.
Rumpled linen, a lace edge, a soft faux-fur throw at the foot of the bed.
Positions it suits
From our position guide: comfort-first, non-explicit, and paired with the furniture that makes each one easier.
