Choosing and using lubricant
The main types of lube, what each one is good at, what it's safe with, which ingredients to skip, and how to use enough of it.

H2O with a little silicone and some cream blended in. It lasts longer than a water-based lube and still washes off with water, but it isn't for silicone toys.

We haven't used Silk. This take rests on Sliquid's partner info sheet and training, the product page on sliquid.com, and how a hybrid sits between the H2O and Silver lubes we've already reviewed.
Sliquid builds Silk on its H2O base: the bottle is 82% purified water, blended with 9% silicone (dimethicone) and cream emollients for a lotion-like glide. The silicone keeps it slick longer than a straight water-based lube, and the water base means it rinses off with water rather than needing soap. It's glycerin and paraben free, vegan, unflavored and unscented, with a listed pH of 4.1 to 4.4, and Sliquid calls it non-staining. Sliquid's FAQ says all of its lubricants are compatible with all condom types. The extra staying power helps most with hand play, massage and longer evenings.
This is the bottle for the longer evenings, including a massage that turns into more. It cleans up like H2O, with warm water and a washcloth, and it shouldn't mark the sheets. Use it on bodies, glass or steel, and reach for H2O or Sassy when a silicone toy comes out. Store the bottle with the glass and steel toys, not on top of the silicone ones.
Most of your toys are soft silicone, or you want lube for the shower. H2O or Sassy cover the first case and Silver covers the second.
Couples who find water-based lube dries too fast but don't want silicone lube's soap-and-towel cleanup, and whose toys are glass, steel or hard plastic.
