The Eagle
Also called: Spread eagle
The receiving partner's hips rest on the kneeling partner's thighs and their legs go up and wide on either side of the kneeling partner's head.
The receiving partner lies on their back, arms relaxed overhead or out to the sides. The other partner kneels upright and sits back toward their heels, then draws the receiving partner's hips up onto their thighs so the lower back lifts off the bed. The receiving partner raises both legs and opens them wide, one leg on each side of the kneeling partner's head, resting against the shoulders or held at the thighs or calves. The kneeling partner holds the receiving partner's waist or hips and moves with steady, controlled strokes. Unlike Yawning, the hips are lifted onto the kneeling partner's lap rather than resting on the bed, which steepens the angle. Bringing the legs closer together softens things; opening them wider makes it deeper and more intense.
Depth and a strong angle, with a good view for the kneeling partner and very little effort from the receiving partner.
A wedge under the hips takes the lifting work off the kneeling partner's thighs. Bend the knees if the stretch is too much.
Start with the legs closer together and open them gradually. Small changes in width make a big difference here.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
