The Standing Lean
Also called: From Behind, Hands on knees
A free-standing, more upright cousin of standing from behind: no wall, just a gentle forward lean with hands on the knees.
The receiving partner stands with feet about hip-width apart and bends forward from the hips about halfway, bracing their hands on their own thighs or knees. The partner behind stands close, feet slightly apart and knees soft, and holds the receiving partner's hips or waist. Because there's no wall to push against, the lean is shallower than in standing from behind, which keeps it closer and a little less deep. The partner behind can wrap an arm around the receiving partner's waist and pull them back against their chest for a kiss on the neck. Bending lower makes it deeper; standing almost upright turns it into a slow, close embrace from behind.
A quick, spontaneous position you can fall into anywhere in the room, with hands free to reach around.
If heights don't match, the taller partner bends their knees or the shorter one stands on a stable, low step.
Rocking back into the partner behind lets the receiving partner set the pace without changing anything else.
Agree on it before you try it, use plenty of lube, and either of you can stop at any point. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
