Coital Alignment Technique
Also called: CAT
Missionary shifted up a few inches, so the motion becomes grinding pressure on the clitoris.
Start in missionary. The top partner slides their body a few inches higher, so their pelvis sits slightly above the receiving partner's and their chest rests closer to their shoulders. Instead of thrusting in and out, both partners rock together in a steady up-and-down rhythm, keeping their pelvises pressed together the whole time.
Clitoral stimulation during penetration, which many people with a vulva need to orgasm. Close, slow and full of eye contact.
It takes a few tries to find the alignment. Go slower than feels natural, keep the pressure constant, and talk about what's working.
The receiving partner can keep their legs straighter and closer together than in regular missionary. That often helps the grind land in the right place.
Agree on it before you try it, use plenty of lube, and either of you can stop at any point. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
