Side Saddle
An on-top position where the rider sits sideways across the other partner's hips, both legs to one side, like riding side saddle.
One partner lies flat on their back with legs straight. The other partner kneels beside their hips and then sits across them sideways, facing out to the side, with both legs bent and resting together on one side of the bottom partner's body. Once lowered down, the rider leans slightly back or forward and props one hand on the bed or on the bottom partner's thigh for balance, keeping the other hand free. The rider leads, rocking and turning their hips rather than bouncing. Leaning back toward the bottom partner's head changes the angle one way; leaning forward toward their feet changes it the other.
A fresh angle for the partner on top with easy control of pace and depth. The rider's free hand can reach their own body or a toy.
Keep it to small rocking motions at first. The bottom partner can bend their knees to give the rider something to lean on.
Turn slowly from regular cowgirl into side saddle while staying connected. The partway point is worth lingering on too.
Go slowly when lowering down. Coming down hard at the wrong angle can hurt a penis or a toy. Keep the motion controlled.
Agree on it before you try it, use plenty of lube, and either of you can stop at any point. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
