Kneeling Wheelbarrow
Also called: One leg up, from behind
Doggy style with one of the front partner's legs lifted and held straight back. A grounded, knees-down warm-up for the full wheelbarrow.
The receiving partner starts on hands and knees on the bed. The partner behind kneels upright close to their hips and enters as in doggy style. The receiving partner then lifts one leg off the bed and stretches it straight back and up, and the kneeling partner tucks that thigh against their own hip or holds it in the crook of their arm, keeping the other hand on the receiving partner's lower back. Most of the receiving partner's weight stays on both hands and the one knee still down. Bringing the lifted leg higher tilts the hips and sharpens the angle; letting it rest lower along the kneeling partner's side is easier to hold.
An energetic, deep angle with a bit of a stretch to it, and a good test run before trying any version of the wheelbarrow that leaves the bed.
Drop from hands to forearms, or put a firm pillow under the chest, so the receiving partner's arms aren't doing all the work. Switch legs halfway through.
The kneeling partner should hold the lifted leg firmly enough that the receiving partner can relax into it, not grip it themselves.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
Agree on it before you try it, use plenty of lube, and either of you can stop at any point. This guide is general information, not medical advice.
