Living with it
Ours is mounted on the wall. Our install took longer than most will, because we stained and sealed wood planks first and mounted the cross with bolts and wing nuts, so it can come down when we want the room to look ordinary.
If you're mounting it more simply, plan on roughly one to three hours, depending on what you're mounting to. If you'd rather not mount it at all, freestanding crosses with their own stands are out there too.
The wrist cuffs get the most use. Nothing has loosened so far.
