Common questions
What shows on my bank statement?
Payments run through Stripe and show up under a plain, neutral descriptor that says nothing about what Braise is. We never see or store your full card number. There's more on how we keep things quiet on our discretion page.
Can my partner use it with me?
Yes. The Midnight Room is a game for two to four consenting adults, and Draw from the Trunk has a Draw for two mode. And one membership covers two: link accounts with your partner, then share your Unlimited with them from your account page, at no extra cost. Everything opens for both of you, and Room Designer renders are shared between you. Linking is free, shares nothing until you each switch it on, and either of you can unlink at any time. Is my room photo private?
Yes. Your photo is stripped of its location data, used to make your render and then deleted. The render is saved privately to your account, and you can delete it whenever you like. We keep the photo only if, after seeing your render, you say yes to letting us feature your before and after, and you can withdraw that at any time.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
The trial opens everything, with a few room renders; 4K and 360° views start once your membership bills. We'll email you before the trial ends. If you don't cancel by then, the first year is charged when the trial ends.
How do I cancel?
Online, any time: on your account page, choose "Manage membership" to open Stripe's secure billing page. Or email hello@braiseroom.comfrom the address on your account and we'll cancel it for you. Your membership runs to the end of the period you've paid for; the current period isn't refunded.
What does lifetime cover?
The members-only features that exist on the day you buy, as listed on this page, for as long as Braise offers Unlimited. That's the life of the service, not a fixed number of years. For now we also open new members-only tools to founding members, as a courtesy rather than a promise. Room Designer fair-use limits apply as they do for everyone. It belongs to one account, which can share it with one linked partner, and is non-refundable. The full details are in the lifetime terms.
