Give a room design.
The hard part about giving a gift in this category has never been the money. It's the choosing. Nobody wants to pick something this personal on somebody else's behalf, and nobody much enjoys unwrapping a guess.
So the card buys what Braise makes rather than products: months or a full year of Unlimited (renders of their actual bedroom and everything else members get), a written design report, or time with a designer. The recipient chooses everything themselves, which means you can give something personal without having decided anything personal for them.
What it can be spent on
Braise gift cards work for anything Braise sells: Unlimited, the Room Designer and consultations. They aren't a balance to spend on products, because we don't sell products directly: everything in our reviews is somebody else's product, linked to their store. We'd rather say that plainly than sell you a card and let you find out.
Choose the gift
Giving Unlimited
A membership gift is Unlimited, start to finish: every deck and scene, The Playroom, the full Midnight Room, up to 30 Room Designer renders a month and everything else members get. The recipient doesn't enter a card, and it never renews on its own. When the time is nearly up we send one short, discreet note in case they'd like to keep going on a yearly plan. If they do nothing, the account simply goes back to free.
The details
Nothing expires. A gift that quietly becomes worthless isn't a gift, so there's no expiration date and no dormancy fee.
It's discreet at both ends. The email uses a neutral sender name and subject line, and the billing descriptor is neutral too. Nobody glancing at a phone or a statement learns anything.
You can schedule it. Buy in November, have it arrive on the morning of the birthday, or print it and hand it over yourself.
The code is shown once. We store it hashed and can't recover it afterward, which is the same reason a password reset doesn't email your old password back. Keep the email, or print the card.
How to redeem one. Go to the redeem page (the email has a button that fills in the code), sign in or create a free account, and the card is applied right away. Membership cards add one, three or twelve months of Unlimited, starting after any time already on the account. Consultation cards add a prepaid Digital Report or Virtual Design Session that's used when you book, or, if the recipient would rather have Unlimited, they can turn it into Unlimited time from their account at the yearly rate (a $49 card becomes 10 months, a $149 card 30 months). Each code works once.
Products aren't included. Braise gift cards cover anything Braise sells, but they can't be used for products from other retailers.
Full terms, including refunds, are on the terms page. Rather give something to unwrap? The Gift Guide puts together a short list of physical gifts for any occasion and budget.
