Seated in a Silk Hammock
Also called: Aerial silk
One partner cradled in a low aerial-silk hammock, the other standing or seated close.
Hang the silk so its lowest point sits at about hip height. One partner sits back into it like a hammock chair, legs open. The other stands between their legs, or sits facing them on a bench, holding the fabric to rock it gently. The silk wraps and supports the body in a way a regular swing doesn't.
A floating, held feeling, slow rocking, and face-to-face closeness.
Start low, close to the floor or bed, until you trust the rig.
Rocking the silk gently is better than pulling it toward you.
Ceiling mounts must go into a joist or a rated frame. Follow the maker's instructions and weight limits, and test it before use.
