From Behind at the Bed's Edge
Also called: Edge doggy
The front partner kneels at the edge of the bed; the other stands behind.
The receiving partner kneels on the bed right at the edge, facing away, and leans forward onto their hands or forearms. The other partner stands on the floor behind them. Standing gives the back partner much better control and saves both partners' knees.
Depth, rhythm and a strong angle, without anyone kneeling on a hard surface.
Bed too low? The standing partner bends their knees, or the receiving partner kneels on a wedge. Too high? The receiving partner lies flat over the edge instead.
The front partner can lower their chest to the bed for more depth, or stay up on their hands for less.
Deep positions can hit the cervix or press on tender spots. Start shallow, let the receiving partner set the depth, and ease off at the first wince.
A wedge or ramp fixes any mismatch between bed height and standing height.
